Bonnie Greer took over as Chair of writernet 13/10/05.
"I am very excited to be leading a playwrights' organisation which is working nationally and internationally - looking at
the art and craft of playwriting here in the UK both as artform and as a part of the new society that will be 21st Century
Britain; and internationally - asking, among other questions, what it means to be a European now. I look forward to
being a part of theatre that engages with culture and society in movement and raises the level of debate and action."
